Two things you should know before you read anything else on this site: how we earn, and what we are not.
This is not medical advice
We are travelers, not doctors, nurses, or pharmacists. Everything on this site is general information gathered from public sources, and none of it is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for you specifically.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you change how or when you take a medicine, before you start a supplement, and before a long flight if you have a condition affecting your heart, lungs, circulation, clotting risk, or mobility. If you feel unwell while travelling, seek local medical help rather than reading a website.
We do not name doses. Where a page mentions something like melatonin, the dose is something to settle with your doctor or pharmacist, not with us.
Affiliate links
Some links to products are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We take part in the Amazon Associates programme and, on some pages, direct programmes run by brands.
Commission does not decide what we recommend. Product pages list honest downsides for every item, including ones we suggest buying, and we say plainly when the evidence for a popular product is weak. We have not been paid to include anything, and no brand sees a page before it is published.
Prices and price bands are estimates and change often. Always check the current price and the current specification on the retailer's page before buying.
Sources
Health-adjacent pages cite the public sources they rely on, including the CDC Yellow Book, the NHS, the Mayo Clinic, and published sleep research. If you think we have read a source wrongly, please tell us.
Your data
The tools on this site compute everything in your browser and store nothing. The only thing we keep is an email address you choose to give us for the newsletter. See our privacy notice.
